Product Manager - Data Analytics (Remote)

We seek an experienced data-focused Product Manager for our fast growing Data Insights team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a robust team responsible for driving our clients' success through analytics and data insights. You will be helping our clients make smarter, more informed decisions. Consequently resulting in the client achieving maximum ROI, increased market visibility and growth.

The scope for the Insights team is to create customer ROI using data analytics, insights and reporting while monetizing our data assets. In this role you will:

  • Create the next-generation client-facing analytics tool set to facilitate our clients' decision-making process.
  • Be responsible for defining the product roadmap, managing product execution and delivery, and own P&L of the Insights products.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders in order to provide a top-quality, market relevant, high performing product.

Looking toward the future, this role is pivotal. We have ambitious strategic growth plans, to enrich our core products by expanding our data and analytics platform for a wider engagement.

Role Based:

  • Relevant Data Conceptualization. You are able to specify detailed requirements for data visualization which match best practices and have the highest value for our stakeholders. You understand that the choices you make in data selection, capture and visualization greatly affect the communication of and successful use of that data.
  • Objective Prioritization. You choose which things are most important and align with product strategy, not being afraid to say no or to pivot. You pose the right questions, by understanding the market and competition, and analyzing user/customer behavior data before defining the product's road map.
  • Strategic Product Thinker. You think strategically throughout all phases of product development - from understanding your market & users to deciding how to launch successfully. You have a solid understanding of the product life cycle, audience segmentation, the project management process and forecasting sales.
  • Research & Analysis. You are highly proficient in conducting market, client and user research. You know how to use tools to compile and analyze data, while being able to objectively interpret the data these tools generate.
  • Experimentation. You evaluate ideas and prioritize based on data. You drive fast iteration and low fidelity experimentation & testing. You measure the impact of the features/products you are building quantitatively, by testing them before and after release. You are ok making mistakes, but make them fast and pivot fast.
  • Outcomes Driven. You focus on the results, achieving goals, and driving client value. Not from delivering features for the sake of delivering.
  • Familiarity with Marketing and Business Economics. Having a basic understanding of marketing and business economics will go a long way toward understanding the concepts you’ll need to successfully execute relevant data products.

Outcomes (1 year)

Manage the Insights full product lifecycle.

        • Be responsible for aligning, radiating and continually evolving the roadmap of the Insight Product Team with the overall product strategy.
        • Lead experiments, ideation sessions, user behavior analysis and focus groups to assist with deciding which features are most valuable.
        • Conduct market research such as exploratory research, competitive analysis, and user insights.
        • Define and groom with your engineering team all Insight feature themes, epics and user stories.
        • Build and refine the Insights product backlog, and prioritize based upon strategic alignment, along with the likelihood of successful cost benefit, user/business value, time criticality, risk assessment, opportunity enablement, cost of delay, size, and other defined factors.
        • Conduct regularly-cadenced customer feedback loops; act as the true voice of the customer.
        • Act as the primary liaison between the Insights engineering team and stakeholders and as the customer proxy for engineering questions.
        • Work in collaboration with stakeholder teams (such as marketing, sales etc) to develop a strong Go-To-Market strategy.
        • Own and socialize team-related metrics and reporting throughout the organization.

        Deliver new Insights features and improve upon existing features on schedule to meet Accredible's growth strategy.

          • Work with UI/UX Designers, your product peers and team members as needed to produce specifications for Insight features to be modified or produced to customer satisfaction.
          • Consult with Developers to determine build costs and component reusability for Insights features.
          • Balance speed to market and Insights (product) maturity resulting in shipping quickly.
          • Balance the technology investments to better collect data and work with data at scale, while providing user value.

          Ensure adoption and all supported Insights features are used by customers.

          • Determine if initial engagement & launch are successful through user data collection, behavior analysis and also through collaboration with commercial stakeholders (Marketing and Sales).
          • Make ongoing updates to Insight features which prove to be successful.
          • Analyze data and create product scorecards to portray the overall health of Insights; this may include, but is not limited to, business achievements, financial performance, strategic value, and future business potential.
          • Underperforming Insights features are retired.
          • Maintain inventory of active Insights features. You know the current usage of each feature, you know and can communicate the relative value of each feature in terms of lead generation, and ARR of active customers.
          • Complete analysis in an attempt to define root cause analysis of underperforming features.
          • Remove untenable features and document as failed prototypes.

          Evangelize and enable company level data-driven decisioning. Educate the organization.

            • Capture, manage and analyze Accredible's client data, along with market, industry and competitive data
            • Communicate throughout the org summarizations of this data analysis. Expressing customer, market and industry trends, to provide company-level insight to the usage of credentials across the client base.
            • Be a driver of our product organization and Accredible as a whole making data-driven decisions.
